Let us introduce you to our fantastic team of doctors and wellness professionals.  We hope our faces become as familiar to you as yours will to us!

David Brook, DC

Dr. Brook is a husband, a father, a son, and a friend.  He shares ownership of the Whole Health Chiropractic Center with his wife, Dr. Verlynn Kleppe.  Originally from Jamestown, New York, he is a 1997 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.  For the past 20 years, he has been helping families transition from acute sickness care to wellness care.

“It has been a true blessing to have our practice in Warren.  Our staff and clients have made our practice such an amazing place to grow, learn and share.”

Dr. Brook has championed a grass roots effort to help people lift them selves out life style based health problems with a team of experts who care more, work harder and do it affordably.

Dr. Brook is just one component of Whole Health Chiropractic the blend all the benefits of great Chiropractic Care into an environment that inspires healing, evokes action, friendship and a family feel.

Two of his favorite quotes.

“Faith is believing in what you can not see and the reward for that faith is being able to see what you Believe” -Unknown

“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work and give orders.  Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea”.   -Antoine De Saint-Exupery

Verlynn Kleppe, DC

Dr. Verlynn Kleppe graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic.  She is a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Other certifications include Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Functional Movement Techniques kinesiology taping and Rock Blades myofascial release.

In her own words, Dr. Kleppe explains the passion behind the work that she loves:

"I decided to specialize in exercise because of the needs I saw.

1) For teaching people how to help themselves actively eliminate and prevent pain

2) Identify and correct faulty movement patterns, function and imbalances

3) Teach people of all levels how to safely and effectively exercise

4) Motivate and inspire clients to enjoy exercise and incorporate it into their lives

I really enjoy working with athletes, both helping them recover from injuries and improve performance.  But what I have really come to love is helping the people who have never exercised on a regular basis.

Many have tried, lost interest, gotten injured, given up because they didn’t have the knowledge, motivation and support they needed.  I love seeing them master good form and movement patterns, gain muscle, lose fat, build endurance, but mostly build confidence, learn to enjoy exercise and incorporate it into their new healthy lifestyle.

The only thing more rewarding than hearing “you guys have changed my life” is 'you guys have saved my life'.  That is the reason I love the work we do at Whole Health Chiropractic Center."

Tory Porter is our Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) at Whole Health Chiropractic Center.  She received her education through Great Lakes Institute in Erie, Pa, as well as Medical Massage training at Universal Therapeutic Massage Institute in Albuquerque, NM.

From the first day of massage school, she wanted to work in a Chiropractor's office or with a Physical Therapist... and here she is!  Here is what Tory has to say about serving as a LMT:

"I love hearing when I've made a difference in how someone feels, physically or emotionally. Whether it is the state of relaxation that they feel afterwards, or that they can move better, it brings me joy to know I have made a difference in someone's life.

"I work with Hospice of Warren County, serving as a massage therapist to the patients as well as their family members. So many people underestimate the power of touch, and how important it is for your health."

Jeanna Winslow

Jeanna plays important roles at Whole Health Chiropractic Center, including being one of the first faces you see at our Welcome Desk to being one of our Personal Trainers.  She found an interest in Personal Training and Chiropractic after she had back surgery.  She realized working out was helping with the pain she had been experiencing, and wanted to help others feel good about themselves.  Chiropractic helped relieve the pain so she could keep working out.

Kayaking, biking and camping are three of Jeanna's favorite activities that bring relaxation into her life.

Jeanna's favorite part of working for Whole Health Chiropractic Center is the family dynamic.  In her words, "We are a big family at WHCC! I never realized how Chiropractic and working out helped someone until I started working at WHCC".

We are grateful to have Jeanna as a part of our family and team at Whole Health Chiropractic Center!

Jody English, Personal Trainer

It was back in 2008 that I was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease and struggled with the complications for quite some time. In 2009, I became open to the activity of running.  When learning to run, I was also learning the importance of healthy, nutritious eating.  That is when I truly learned how important a healthy lifestyle was.

Later on, I became introduced into the world of Chiropractic care and the importance that it plays on your health as well. Through all the different combinations and changes, I no longer struggle with the serious side effects of the disease.

Through my own personal experience, I love sharing with clients the meaning of a healthy lifestyle and what it can truly do for them. I love to teach clients about how strong and amazing their body really is. One of the most rewarding experiences is when someone doesn't think they can lift a certain weight or functional movement, and with the proper training and guiding, they complete the task.

I am looking forward to meeting and working with many new clients through personal training and helping them meet their fitness goals.

I was born and raised in Sugar Grove and still reside there today with my dog, Apollo. I love many different varieties of outdoor country activities, but my passion remains running and hiking.
