“It has been a true blessing to have our practice in Warren for the past 25 years.  Our staff and clients have made our practice such an amazing place to grow, learn and share.”

Dr. Brook has spent the last 25 years learning how to help people unleash their innate power to heal. By focusing on the Chiropractic adjustment, Posture correction and his unique team of health professionals he is able to treat and lead people to better health. Two of his favorite quotes.

“Faith is believing in what you cannot see and the reward for that faith is being able to see what you Believe” -Unknown

“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work and give orders.  Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea”.   -Antoine De Saint-Exupery

Verlynn Kleppe, DC

Dr. Verlynn Kleppe graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic.  She is a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Other certifications include Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Functional Movement Techniques kinesiology taping and Rock Blades myofascial release.

In her own words, Dr. Kleppe explains the passion behind the work that she loves:

"I decided to specialize in exercise because of the needs I saw.

1) For teaching people how to help themselves actively eliminate and prevent pain

2) Identify and correct faulty movement patterns, function and imbalances

3) Teach people of all levels how to safely and effectively exercise

4) Motivate and inspire clients to enjoy exercise and incorporate it into their lives

I really enjoy working with athletes, both helping them recover from injuries and improve performance.  But what I have really come to love is helping the people who have never exercised on a regular basis.

Many have tried, lost interest, gotten injured, given up because they didn’t have the knowledge, motivation and support they needed.  I love seeing them master good form and movement patterns, gain muscle, lose fat, build endurance, but mostly build confidence, learn to enjoy exercise and incorporate it into their new healthy lifestyle.

The only thing more rewarding than hearing “you guys have changed my life” is 'you guys have saved my life'.  That is the reason I love the work we do at Whole Health Chiropractic Center."

Matthew Myschisin, DC

A Russell native, Dr. Matt graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus.

"I was always fascinated by the body and its mechanisms. I saw how Chiropractic helped friends and family get better in a more natural way. Eight years ago, I decided to go into Chiropractic and never once looked back. I enjoy working with athletes as well as children.

"I moved back to the area to be closer to my family and be a part of my niece and nephews' lives."

In his spare time, Dr. Matt is active in the outdoors: boating, hiking, and camping. He enjoys weightlifting and has also trained in Krav Maga, a self-defense martial art.

Tory Porter, Licensed Massage Therapist

Tory Porter is one of our Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT) at Whole Health Chiropractic Center.  She received her education through Great Lakes Institute in Erie, Pa, as well as Medical Massage training at Universal Therapeutic Massage Institute in Albuquerque, NM.

Tory is certified in the following types of massage: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, and Cupping.

From the first day of massage school, she wanted to work in a Chiropractor's office or with a Physical Therapist... and here she is!  Here is what Tory has to say about serving as a LMT:

"I love hearing when I've made a difference in how someone feels, physically or emotionally. Whether it is the state of relaxation that they feel afterwards, or that they can move better, it brings me joy to know I have made a difference in someone's life."

Tory lives in Lander, PA with her husband, son and black lab, Wrangler Levi.  She loves spending time with family and friends, kayaking, 4-wheeling, and driving her Jeep.

Cindy Rutsky, Licensed Massage Therapist

Cindy Rutsky graduated from Great Lakes Institute of Technology at the top of her class in 2012. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) for 8 years and offers Deep Tissue, Swedish, Prenatal and Sports massage.

Cindy likes to develop a treatment plan that will work for that specific individual and incorporates hot and cold therapies, myofascial release, various stretches and cupping in order to assist her clients on their wellness journeys. Although Cindy enjoys primarily working on clients with medical issues such as Scoliosis, Tennis Elbow and Sciatica, she also understands and incorporates the mental and emotional aspects of massage as well.

Cindy says "The biggest take home of my career for me is that I can help improve someones quality of life and well being. Thats huge for me. That is my purpose. I'm so thankful I found my job doing something I love. Helping people be the best version of themself is exactly why I decided to become a Licensed Massage Therapist."

Cindy lives in Sugar Grove, PA on a farm with her fiancé, 2 step children and various animals. She enjoys competing in horse shows, dog training and is active as a leader in local 4-H.

Sylvia Rutsy, Licensed Massage Therapist

Craving a change in careers to fill a void of fulfillment with her work, Sylvia Rutsky became aware of the Massage Therapist program at Great Lakes Institute of Technology. Realizing she had an untapped interest in the study and practice of body work, Sylvia enrolled and graduated with top honors from GLIT in 2012 along with her sister Cynthia.

“My favorite aspect of massage is the encompassing positive effects that even a 30 minute session can produce. Learning how intertwined a person’s physical wellbeing is with their mental and emotional state was the biggest epiphany for my understanding of what “Whole Health” means.”

After practicing massage at Whole Health Chiropractic Care Center for 3 years, Sylvia is more excited than ever to continue her education and learn new modalities for her clients. “If I had to choose one aspect of massage that is my favorite, I would say the emotional unburdening that physical touch allows is just awesome. It almost creates a safe space for the client to relax enough to let go of stress and worry that the body holds onto. I love offering my clients Hot Stones massage to achieve this result, it is the best for getting that total relaxation experience. My goal is to one day be certified to practice BMR (Body Memory Recall), and delve into an entirely new level of massage!”

Sylvia lives in Warren with far too many pets. Her dogs Dozer, Cairo and Harris and the cats Petra and Stevie keep her on her toes with their shenanigans. She loves being an aunt to all of her awesome nieces and nephews and attending their sports activities. In her spare time, Sylvia enjoys attempting to one day play a decent game of golf, exercising, reading, dreaming about owning a Congress champion with her sister, redoing her house and appreciating wine.

Kayaking, paddle boarding, camping, and spending time with her family are Jeanna's top favorite activities that bring relaxation into her life.

The part of working for Whole Health Chiropractic Center that Jeanna loves most is the family dynamic. In her words, "We are a big family at WHCC! I never realized how Chiropractic and working out helped someone until I started working at WHCC".

We are grateful to have Jeanna as a part of our family and team at Whole Health Chiropractic Center.

Cathy Martin, Chiropractic Tech & Yoga Instructor

Coming from a business background, Cathy brings a wealth of insight to the Whole Health team. After gaining significant experience from her time with a major insurance carrier, she became interested in nurturing her desire to be an advocate for patients. Most importantly, though, is Cathy’s personal devotion to whole health care.

Cathy, along with her loving husband, Keith, have been competitive mountain bikers for nearly two decades. She and Keith have added to their passion by becoming certified as professional mountain bike instructors. This adventure has taken them many places, with a few bumps and bruises along the way. It wasn’t long until Cathy realized how important a completely balanced life is, to maintain a high level of both physical and mental aptitude for competition. Although she has won a few awards both riding and also the occasional 5K running event, her real pleasure comes from knowing her commitment to total health allows her to give kids half her age a run for their money out on the trails.

In order to keep up with the young guns, Cathy started to do yoga.

"I've always been involved in sports, primarily running and biking. As I age, I am realizing that my body is less flexible & I often hurt after a good workout. Several years ago, I started adding yoga to my daily routine. The benefits carry me through the day."

"A couple years ago, I had the opportunity to start classes to become a Certified yoga instructor. I want to help people feel better and get them into a routine of taking better care of their bodies"

Cathy considers her opportunity to be a teammate at Whole Health Chiropractic Center to be her dream job, and she is happy to share that joy with any one and every one she meets.

Trinity Zock, Front Desk Manager

Starting off as a patient at Whole Health Chiropractic has given me the perspective to understand the powerful and healing role that Chiropractic care, as well as the other services offered, have on the physical body as well as the emotional body. Coming in, I suffered from severe neck pain and immobility. Receiving Chiropractic treatment has been a life changing experience in getting relief from pain and gaining mobility back in my neck; after all, we only get one body and it is important to take care of it. Shortly after becoming a patient I was hired on to join the team.

Prior to working at Whole Health Chiropractic Center, I didn't understand what it was like to look forward to coming to work, but everyday I get to be a part of a team of inspiring people who care about each other and the progress and improvement of the people who come in for care. Working here, I feel like I am always learning something new, and the standards and ethics within the company are something I'm proud to be a part of.
